Where can we help?
At first sight, leading virtual teams seems to be a challenge that is totally different from traditional leadership. We suddenly find it more difficult to obtain information about the members of our team, while we often notice a substantially increasing need to control them. In this situation, there is only one possible solution: we have to adopt a new method of leadership. Although the objectives of leadership have remained unchanged, the way and the instruments to achieve them have changed. Our training course provides support for applying this new method of leadership by identifying the strategies through which our leadership goals can be efficiently achieved in a virtual setting as well.
How do we help?
We examine the specific features of remote leadership and we identify the novel challenges that it implies.
We identify employees’ possible individual needs and the matching remote leadership tools using the situational leadership model.
We help participants analyse their teams, focusing on their personal leadership challenges and looking for specific solutions for them.
We put remote leadership in the context of positive leadership, placing special emphasis on the tools for building trust in a virtual setting.
In order to avoid micromanagement, we consciously deal with the increased need of leaders to control their teams by helping them focus on the results instead of employees’ activities.
