Case study · Multinational company, international controlling team
Storytelling alongside the dry numbers
A three-hour storytelling workshop for 40 controllers from three continents.
Challenge
To close a multi-day professional programme, the controllers needed simple techniques to explain complex problems clearly to decision-makers. The atmosphere mattered too: the programme had to end on a good note.
Solution
- We planned and agreed the programme of up to 3 hours down to the minute.
- We worked with three trainers so that everyone could practise and get attention.
- We used improvisational theatre exercises to show the benefits of storytelling, then participants tried it for real in small groups.
- Everyone worked on their own current professional topic.
Result
The international group of 40 finished the programme with practical tools and in a great mood.
