About us
Communication and leadership training since 2007
Impact Works is a Budapest-based training company with international experience and a committed team. We work with leaders and teams to help them communicate and lead more effectively and in a more people-centred way.
A our story
Impact Works was founded in 2007 by András Batiz, a former TV editor-presenter and government spokesperson. His aim was to pass on to others what he had learned in both roles – as the one asking the questions and the one answering them.
Alongside media training, he soon began developing presentation skills, then negotiation and other communication skills, and not long after, leadership development programmes became part of the offering too – thanks to an excellent team of professionals. The combined expertise of the team of actors, communication professionals, psychologists and trainers is the foundation of the programmes, which support leaders and experts, individuals and teams alike.
Since 2007, we have supported professionals in 50 countries on four continents, live or through online courses. We have helped hundreds of leaders at Fortune 500 companies show their “best selves” in all kinds of situations. We are a registered adult education institution (registration number: B/2020/002022).

Our philosophy
We build trust
We teach how to communicate authentically, clearly and understandably. Because that's what builds trust: within the team, between leaders and their people, and between speakers and their audience.
How we work
Practice, not theory
Participants work on their own real situations: role play, simulation, video recording, instant feedback. What they try out in the training, they can use the next day.
Trust and conflict at the centre
Most communication problems come down to a lack of trust or unspoken conflicts. That's why we prepare people for these situations: difficult conversations, feedback, standing up for yourself assertively.
A mixed team
Trainers, psychologists, journalists and actors work together. That way, a difficult situation isn't just understood, it's experienced. Meet the team.
